The Gehman Tester ET 02-II is a testing machine for measuring the temperature dependency of the torsional stiffness of vulcanized or thermoplastic rubber. The test is conducted in accordance with ISO 1432, ASTM D1053, or equivalent standards.
This Gehman tester has six test stations, is computer-controlled, and performs tests automatically.
The EC 18 Windows software included with the Gehman tester supports test setup and execution, and displays results in real-time graphs. The software gradually increases the temperature, twists the test piece at regular intervals, measures the angle of twist, and stops the test when the twist angle becomes sufficiently small. Using this software, you can display and compare multiple test results and create reports that include results defined by standards, such as RM2, RM5, RM10, and RM100. Results can also be exported and opened in Excel.
At the same time, we recommend the introduction of the automatic cooling device ET 01.02, which uses liquid nitrogen. The ET 01.02 consists of a cryogenic container for storing liquid nitrogen and special valves and hoses for connecting the container to the cryogenic testing apparatus. The container is made of 60-liter stainless steel and offers durability to safely withstand harsh working environments, with less evaporation loss compared to conventional liquid cylinders.
